Join the Friends on Saturday, December 9, at 10:30 AM as we decorate a tree in Cedarbrook Park for the holidays to surprise and delight our neighbours as they walk or ride through the park! We’ll meet at the picnic shelter and choose a tree somewhere around there. Maybe we’ll choose the same tree as last year, or maybe not … Afterwards, we’ll warm up with a hot drink and snacks in the Community Centre.
We will have some decorations, but you are welcome to bring your own. Please note: decorations cannot be harmful to people, animals, or the environment (for example, no glass ornaments or foil tinsel). Decorations should also be able to withstand the winter weather for about a month.
